Project 12 - Creating A Shooting Game

Below you will find a tutorial to create the 'Shoot The Shark' Game. Within your own game you will need to meet the following requirements.

  1. Create a welcome screen detailing how to play the game
  2. A unique stage, which will act as the level for the game
  3. A end of game screen that congratulates people on there score
  4. A scoring system that tallys as items have been shot
  5. A countdown timer for the duration of play
  6. A series of sounds/effects

Project 6 - Animated Gifs

After learning about the different types of picture files, we will be putting one of them to the test by creating an animated gif. You can use the site below www.gifninja.com to bind your images together once you have drawn them. You will need to create three unique animations and upload them to your own posterous page. Whats an animated gif you may ask? Check out my example below.

Project 5 - Google Sketchup

 

During Project 5 we will learn how to use Google Sketchup so that we can create groovy 3D objects and designs. In our first project we will create a house which will appear somewhat similar to my example below. The design possibilities for Google Sketchup are endless. Have fun.

Project 4 - Comic Life

 

Your task is to create your very own comic book strip where you are the star. (see criteria sheet below)

You can include well known characters and your own images to illustrate your comic strip. Before commencing creation you will need to; 

· Find some examples of comics online to give you an idea of how they look, what they aim to do etc

·Complete a story board that gives a brief outline of what you intend to do

·Take/Find pictures that could be used within your comic strip.

You comic will need to meet the following criteria;

·Be a minimum of 5 pages long (not including the title page)

·Have at least 3 characters

·Use correct spelling and grammar
